Az\u00e9rt ez \u00edgy sem volt ingerszeg\u00e9ny. Ez is egy j\u00f3 \u00e9s eml\u00e9kezetes h\u00e9tv\u00e9ge volt.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">H\u00e9tf\u0151, kedd, szerda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c1tlagos napok. Semmi extra.<br>Munka: kert\u00e9szked\u00e9s, mosogat\u00e1s. El\u0151tte-ut\u00e1na: pihen\u00e9s, bicikliz\u00e9s, olvas\u00e1s a teraszon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cs\u00fct\u00f6rt\u00f6k<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A szabad napomon kital\u00e1ltam, hogy lemegyek \u00faszni. De messzire nem mehetek, mert p\u00e9nzt kell sp\u00f3rolnom a t\u00e9li h\u00f3napokra. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A munk\u00e1ltat\u00f3m am\u00fagy is \u00e1t fog verni, mert nagyon \u00e9rt a jogi kiskapukhoz; az egy h\u00f3napnyi ki nem vett szabads\u00e1gomat nem fogja kifizetni.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sz\u00f3val, Saintes-Maries a legk\u00f6zelebbi strand. <br>Kellemes az id\u0151. F\u00faj a sz\u00e9l, de ez nem zavar. K\u00e9t \u00f3r\u00e1t aludtam a homokban. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Est\u00e9re az volt a terv, hogy a pubban megn\u00e9zem a koncertet, azt\u00e1n hazamegyek, de kider\u00fclt, hogy a h\u00e9tv\u00e9gi \u00fcnnepi helysz\u00ednek m\u00e1r ma tartanak egy bemeleg\u00edt\u0151t.<br>Hajnali egyig \u00e9lveztem a zen\u00e9t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">P\u00e9ntek<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Az volt a terv, hogy d\u00e9lel\u0151tt fot\u00f3ki\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1st n\u00e9zek, ut\u00e1na meg fesztiv\u00e1lozok.  <br>Tizenegy \u00f3rakor fel\u00e9bredtem. H\u00e9tk\u00f6znapi k\u00e9pek Amerik\u00e1b\u00f3l, amik Eur\u00f3p\u00e1b\u00f3l n\u00e9zve \u00e9rdekesek \u2013 egy picit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hogy mit \u00fcnnepelnek, \u00e9s pontosan mi az a bodega? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M\u00e9g mindig nem tudom pontosan. Napk\u00f6zben lovasbemutat\u00f3k az utc\u00e1n, bikafuttat\u00e1sok alkalmi helysz\u00edneken, rengeteg rezesbanda az utc\u00e1kon; akik meglepet\u00e9sszer\u0171en id\u0151nk\u00e9nt meg\u00e1llnak \u00e9s bulit csin\u00e1lnak; a tereken a koncertek \u00e9s t\u00e1ncbemutat\u00f3t lejtenek. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naplemente ut\u00e1n indul az \u00e9let.<br>Az eg\u00e9sz belv\u00e1ros egyetlen szabadt\u00e9ri partihelysz\u00ednn\u00e9 v\u00e1ltozik. A kisebb b\u00e1rok csak kitesznek egy hangfalat meg egy s\u00f6rcsapot az utc\u00e1ra; de p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul a F\u00f3rum t\u00e9r \u00e9ttermei \u00f6sszefogtak, k\u00f6z\u00f6sen hoztak profi diszk\u00f3technik\u00e1t, zen\u00e9szeket \u00e9s DJ-pultot. Szerintem csak itt, ezen a t\u00e9ren t\u00e1ncolt egyszerre k\u00e9t-h\u00e1romezer ember. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Az \u00e9n strat\u00e9gi\u00e1m az volt \u2013 mint sokaknak \u2013, hogy mozogtam a helysz\u00ednek k\u00f6z\u00f6tt, \u00e9s mindenhol t\u00e1ncoltam egy kicsit; na j\u00f3, az Ar\u00e9na el\u0151tti l\u00e9pcs\u0151n eg\u00e9szen sokat, meg a Wilson t\u00e9ri trafikn\u00e1l is visszat\u00e9r\u0151 voltam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hajnali h\u00e1rom ut\u00e1n ker\u00fcltem \u00e1gyba. M\u00e1snap, reggel h\u00e9tkor, \u00e9rdekes lesz a munka&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Szombat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Azt hittem, n\u00e9gy \u00f3ra alv\u00e1s ut\u00e1n \u00e1lmos leszek \u00e9s munkak\u00e9ptelen, de csak annyi t\u00f6rt\u00e9nt, hogy kett\u0151 helyett h\u00e1rom k\u00e1v\u00e9t ittam. Am\u00fagy elaludtam; h\u00e9tkor kezd\u0151dik a munka, \u00e9n h\u00e9t \u00f3ra h\u00faszkor fel\u00e9bredtem, h\u00e9t \u00f3ra huszon\u00f6tkor m\u00e1r munk\u00e1ban voltam. Ilyenkor szerencse, hogy a munkahelyen lakom: csak magamra kaptam egy nadr\u00e1got \u00e9s egy papucsot, \u00e9s m\u00e1r mentem is a reggelis teraszt tiszt\u00e1ba tenni. Szerintem \u00e9szre sem vett\u00e9k a k\u00e9s\u00e9st, vagy legal\u00e1bbis sz\u00f3 n\u00e9lk\u00fcl hagyt\u00e1k. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D\u00e9lut\u00e1n volt egy felh\u0151szakad\u00e1s, amikor \u00e9n aludtam. Este h\u00e9tkor m\u00e1r a sz\u00e1raz aszfalton indulok a v\u00e1rosba. Ez a fesztiv\u00e1l f\u0151 napja. <br>S\u00f6t\u00e9ted\u00e9skor m\u00e9g lovasbemutat\u00f3t n\u00e9zek a f\u0151utc\u00e1n, mik\u00f6zben s\u00fclt cs\u00fclk\u00f6t vacsor\u00e1zok. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Az Ar\u00e9na egyik terasz\u00e1n belefutok egy j\u00f3 hangulat\u00fa koncertbe, amelynek hangulat\u00e1t csak tov\u00e1bb f\u00e9nyezi, amikor arra j\u00e1r a brazil iskola negyven dobosa; \u0151k k\u00e9s\u0151bb, p\u00e1r h\u00e1zzal lejjebb egy DJ-szettre is r\u00e1kapcsol\u00f3dnak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Megint egy nem v\u00e1rt helyzet, ami v\u00e1ratlan \u00e9lm\u00e9nyt hoz! <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Viszont a teljes \u00e9jszak\u00e1hoz m\u00e1r nincs nagy kedvem. Tal\u00e1n az\u00e9rt, mert az el\u0151z\u0151 k\u00e9t \u00e9jjel kit\u00e1ncoltam magam. he\u2019s very good at legal loopholes, so he won\u2019t pay out my one month of unused vacation.<br>So Saintes-Maries is the closest beach.<br>The weather is pleasant.<br>The wind is blowing, but it doesn\u2019t bother me.<br>I slept for two hours in the sand.<br>In the evening the plan was to watch the concert at the pub and then go home, but it turned out it\u2019s a festive weekend: the venues are already doing a warm-up tonight.<br>I enjoyed the music until 1 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Friday<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plan was to see a photo exhibition in the morning and then hit the festival.<br>I woke up at eleven.<br>I crawled out of bed at two in the afternoon.<br>I reached town by five.<br>Palais de l\u2019Archev\u00each\u00e9: Berenice Abbott, Anna Fox, Karen Knorr.<br>I made it to this one exhibition during opening hours.<br>Back in 1950s America there was a woman who traveled and photographed Route 1 from end to end.<br>From a continent away (and roughly speaking), you can picture the strip of asphalt connecting Niagara on the Canadian border with Miami in South Florida.<br>A few years ago two other photographers also retraced this \u2014 no longer very busy \u2014 main road.<br>Everyday images from America that, seen from Europe, are interesting \u2014 a little bit.<br>What do they celebrate, and what exactly is a bodega?<br>I still don\u2019t know for sure.<br>By day there are equestrian shows in the streets, bull runs at pop-up sites, and lots of brass bands that stop unexpectedly to whip up a party; on the squares there are concerts and dance performances.<br>Life starts after sunset.<br>The entire old town turns into one huge open-air party venue.<br>The smaller bars just put a speaker and a beer tap out on the street; the restaurants on Forum Square, for example, joined forces to bring in pro disco gear, musicians, and a DJ booth.<br>I think on this square alone two to three thousand people danced at once.<br>My strategy \u2014 like many others\u2019 \u2014 was to move between the spots and dance a little everywhere; well, on the steps in front of the Arena I danced quite a lot, and I was a regular by the kiosk on Wilson Square.<br>I went to bed after three.<br>Tomorrow at seven a.m., work will be\u2026 interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saturday<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I thought that after four hours of sleep I\u2019d be sleepy and useless, but all that happened was I had three coffees instead of two.<br>I actually overslept; work starts at seven, I woke up at 7:20, and by 7:25 I was already on the job.<br>It\u2019s a blessing that I live at work: I just threw on trousers and flip-flops and went to tidy the breakfast terrace.<br>I don\u2019t think they even noticed I was late, or at least they let it slide.<br>In the afternoon there was a downpour while I was asleep.<br>At seven in the evening I\u2019m already heading into town on the now-dry streets.<br>This is the festival\u2019s main day.<br>At nightfall I still catch a riding show on the main street while I have roasted pork knuckle for dinner.<br>On one of the Arena\u2019s terraces I stumble into a feel-good concert, and the mood gets even better when forty drummers from a Brazilian school pass by; later they hook up with a DJ set a few doors down.<br>Another unforeseen situation that brings an unexpected thrill!<br>But I\u2019m no longer in the mood for the full night.<br>Maybe because I danced myself out the previous two nights.<br>I do a few loops around town, stop at terraces that aren\u2019t packed, and by 12:30 I\u2019m already in my room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sunday<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now the sleepiness catches up with me.<br>Most of my work was sweeping the paths after yesterday\u2019s rain, but it got tricky when I had to drive the van.<br>It showed in my driving.<br>As usual there\u2019s an afternoon nap, but by six I\u2019m out listening to brass bands marching through the streets of Arles.<br>I do this until nine, then I wish good night to the beautiful white steeds walking along the main street.<br>I hop on my bike.<br>I\u2019ve never done a festival on such a low energy level.<br>Still, it wasn\u2019t lacking in stimuli.<br>It was a good and memorable weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Feria d&#8217;Arles, Rien de nouveau, que du bon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s des jours tranquilles, Arles s\u2019est mu\u00e9e en une piste de danse \u00e0 ciel ouvert : chevaux, fanfares, bodegas et de la musique partout.<br>Peu de sommeil, beaucoup de boulot, encore plus de danse \u2013 et de petites joies inattendues.<br>Un week-end qui \u00e9puise et qui recharge \u00e0 la fois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arles, 2025.09.08., 14:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lundi, mardi, mercredi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jours ordinaires.<br>Rien d\u2019extra.<br>Travail : jardinage, vaisselle.<br>Avant et apr\u00e8s : repos, v\u00e9lo, lecture sur la terrasse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jeudi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour mon jour de repos, j\u2019ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019aller nager.<br>Mais je ne peux pas aller loin, je dois \u00e9conomiser pour les mois d\u2019hiver.<br>Mon employeur va de toute fa\u00e7on me rouler ; sur les places, des concerts et des d\u00e9monstrations de danse.<br>La vie commence apr\u00e8s le coucher du soleil.<br>Tout le centre-ville devient un immense lieu de f\u00eate \u00e0 ciel ouvert.<br>Les petits bars posent simplement une enceinte et une tireuse \u00e0 bi\u00e8re dans la rue ; les restaurants de la place du Forum, par exemple, se sont alli\u00e9s pour amener du matos de disco pro, des musiciens et une r\u00e9gie de DJ.<br>Rien que sur cette place, il y avait, je pense, deux \u00e0 trois mille personnes qui dansaient en m\u00eame temps.<br>Ma strat\u00e9gie \u2014 comme beaucoup d\u2019autres \u2014 \u00e9tait de bouger entre les spots et de danser un peu partout ; bon, sur les marches devant l\u2019Ar\u00e8ne, j\u2019ai dans\u00e9 pas mal, et je suis aussi repass\u00e9 plusieurs fois au kiosque de la place Wilson.<br>Je me suis couch\u00e9 apr\u00e8s trois heures.<br>Le lendemain, \u00e0 sept heures, le boulot promet d\u2019\u00eatre\u2026 int\u00e9ressant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samedi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je pensais qu\u2019apr\u00e8s quatre heures de sommeil je serais vaseux et inefficace, mais tout ce qui a chang\u00e9, c\u2019est que j\u2019ai pris trois caf\u00e9s au lieu de deux.<br>En fait, je me suis rendormi : le boulot commence \u00e0 sept heures, je me suis r\u00e9veill\u00e9 \u00e0 7 h 20, et \u00e0 7 h 25 j\u2019\u00e9tais d\u00e9j\u00e0 au travail.<br>Heureusement que j\u2019habite sur place : j\u2019ai enfil\u00e9 un pantalon et des tongs et je suis parti remettre en ordre la terrasse du petit-d\u00e9jeuner.<br>Je crois qu\u2019ils n\u2019ont m\u00eame pas remarqu\u00e9 le retard, ou en tout cas ils ont laiss\u00e9 passer.<br>L\u2019apr\u00e8s-midi, il y a eu une grosse averse pendant que je dormais.<br>\u00c0 dix-neuf heures, je pars d\u00e9j\u00e0 en ville sur l\u2019asphalte redevenu sec.<br>C\u2019est la journ\u00e9e principale du festival.<br>\u00c0 la nuit tomb\u00e9e, je regarde encore une d\u00e9monstration \u00e9questre dans la grande rue en d\u00eenant d\u2019un jarret de porc r\u00f4ti.<br>Sur une des terrasses de l\u2019Ar\u00e8ne, je tombe sur un concert de bonne humeur, et l\u2019ambiance monte encore quand la quarantaine de batteurs d\u2019une \u00e9cole br\u00e9silienne passe par l\u00e0 ;
