Have you ever read anything like that before? I hope you&#8217;re doing well. I wanted to share something with you &#8211; earlier today, I picked up a copy of Playboy magazine and ended up getting lost in the articles. The magazine is quite lengthy, with a good chunk of it featuring beautiful models and the rest containing interesting reports. As I was researching some of the topics mentioned in the reports, I stumbled upon some fascinating information about the science of political history. It was so intriguing that I&#8217;m now thinking about buying a history book written by a non-Hungarian historian for my next read. I&#8217;m not just mentioning this to save coastal jobs. I&#8217;m actually curious about how other cultures perceive history. For example, Icelanders have had a relatively uneventful modern history, so I wonder how they teach world history. Lately, I&#8217;ve been listening to a radio programme that covers topics for the Budapest history exam. However, the second millennium, starting from the establishment of the Hungarian Empire, mainly focuses on Hungarian history. But that&#8217;s not unusual in itself. It seems that in French schools, they take a more comprehensive approach by examining everything from different perspectives, including the Gauls and the Franks. I completely understand your point about the lack of diversity in Hungarian lessons. I couldn&#8217;t agree more that it would be great to see more inclusion of other regions in our lessons, such as &#8216;Meanwhile in Europe&#8217;, &#8216;Meanwhile in Asia&#8217;, and &#8216;Meanwhile in Africa&#8217; at the end of each chapter. To give some background on R\u00e1k\u00f3czi&#8217;s War of Independence, it&#8217;s worth noting that while Europe is currently in the process of rebuilding a single democracy, the indigenous dead are said to be standing in the mountains of America, and Asia is thriving independently of Europe. On a personal note, I picked up a couple of new books this morning and have been enjoying listening to them while tending to my garden. Additionally, I&#8217;ll be lending a hand to the maintenance man tomorrow. To avoid getting lost in irrelevant thoughts, it&#8217;s important for me to stay focused on tasks that are related to the present reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/laszlo8360.files.wordpress.com\/2024\/03\/bereal-2024-02-19-0837.jpeg?w=768\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5831\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il y a cinq heures \u00e0 peine, je me suis assis pour lire le magazine Playboy. Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une publication de 240 pages (format A\/4e de page), dont 40 pages sont consacr\u00e9es aux filles et le reste \u00e0 des reportages. Alors que je cherchais les noms des sujets du reportage, j&#8217;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 tellement absorb\u00e9 par les d\u00e9tails sur Internet que je me suis retrouv\u00e9 avec la science de l&#8217;histoire politique. Et maintenant, je me dis que la prochaine fois, j&#8217;ach\u00e8terai un livre d&#8217;histoire \u00e9crit par un historien non hongrois (je ne dis pas cela pour le plaisir des emplois c\u00f4tiers). Je suis curieux de voir comment les autres voient l&#8217;histoire. Par exemple, les Islandais, pour qui l&#8217;histoire moderne est presque sans histoire. Je me demande comment ils enseignent l&#8217;histoire du monde. Parce que j&#8217;ai \u00e9cout\u00e9 derni\u00e8rement une \u00e9mission de radio qui aborde les sujets de l&#8217;examen d&#8217;histoire de Budapest. Parce que le deuxi\u00e8me mill\u00e9naire, depuis le d\u00e9but de l&#8217;empire hongrois, est presque exclusivement consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;histoire de la Hongrie. En soi, c&#8217;est normal. Je suis s\u00fbr qu&#8217;\u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9cole fran\u00e7aise, \u00e0 partir de l&#8217;apparition des Gaulois, tout est examin\u00e9 du point de vue gaulois et franc. Une chose me manque dans les cours hongrois : \u00e0 la fin de chaque chapitre, les paragraphes &#8220;Pendant ce temps en Europe ; Pendant ce temps en Asie ; Pendant ce temps en Afrique&#8221;. Parce que cela remettrait imm\u00e9diatement en contexte, par exemple, la p\u00e9riode de la guerre d&#8217;ind\u00e9pendance de R\u00e1k\u00f3czi, si on lisait en quelques phrases qu&#8217;en Europe, pendant ce temps, on recr\u00e9e le concept de d\u00e9mocratie unique, ou qu&#8217;en Am\u00e9rique, pendant ce temps, les morts indig\u00e8nes sont debout dans les montagnes, ou que l&#8217;Asie se d\u00e9brouille tr\u00e8s bien sans l&#8217;Europe. Most pedig azon j\u00e1r az agyam, hogy legk\u00f6zelebb olyan t\u00f6rt\u00e9nelem k\u00f6nyvet fogok venni, amit nem magyar t\u00f6rt\u00e9n\u00e9sz \u00edrt. (Ezt most nem a part \u00e1ll\u00e1sok miatt mondom.) K\u00edv\u00e1ncsi vagyok m\u00e1sok hogyan l\u00e1tj\u00e1k a t\u00f6rt\u00e9nelmet.
