Ezek k\u00f6z\u00fcl sok mindent az\u00e9rt sem mes\u00e9lek el - a nyilv\u00e1nos verzi\u00f3ban, mert ezek nem csak velem t\u00f6rt\u00e9ntek; nem nekem dolgom m\u00e1sok \u00e9let\u00e9r\u0151l besz\u00e9lni.  \u00c9n im\u00e1dok besz\u00e9lgetni, de az olyan t\u00f6rt\u00e9neteket, amikben \u00e9n a hallgat\u00f3s\u00e1g vagyok nem pedig szerepl\u0151, azokat, tal\u00e1n nem kellene tov\u00e1bb adni!<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>V\u00e9letlenszer\u0171en egym\u00e1s al\u00e1 fogok dob\u00e1lni napl\u00f3r\u00e9szleteket.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-cyan-bluish-gray-color\">D\u00e9li p\u00e1lyaudvar<\/mark><\/strong><br>\u00d6sszesen egy nap volt, amikor nem mentem sehova. Between train rides, caf\u00e9s, and loud family lunches, the country kept surfacing in conversations: prices, frustration, and that strange habit of waiting. And then the soft landings: soup, stew, and the feeling of arriving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English body<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>D\u00e9li p\u00e1lyaudvar<\/strong><br>There was exactly one day when I didn\u2019t go anywhere. Otherwise I\u2019m always heading from somewhere to somewhere, from someone to someone. Today it\u2019s by train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nagykanizsa<\/strong><br>This really is a \u201cpeasant distributor\u201d! I lived in Nagykanizsa between 1999 and 2004; that\u2019s what we used to call the bus station. The wild part is that in the twenty-five years since then, nothing has changed. Same paint, same condition, same atmosphere, same number of alcoholics. It must be hard for a student to focus on growth and a better life when they pass through this raw reality twice a day. (I lived in a dorm; the bus station didn\u2019t even fall on my route on weekends.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Alma Caf\u00e9<\/strong><br>One cappuccino in one hour. The servers are already grumbling, but not at me\u2014they took me for a foreigner; I can hear them talking about me. Interesting: back home in Avignon, they\u2019d leave you alone. There it\u2019s completely normal to sit on a terrace. Ten more minutes and I\u2019ll be done with the tax-office forms, then I\u2019m moving on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In Zala<\/strong><br>Another family lunch\u2014neither quiet, nor free of remarks. And still, I\u2019m glad for it.<br>Just\u2026 this isn\u2019t how you\u2019re supposed to awaken homesickness or the desire to come back.<br>Rubbing glittery shower-gel \u201cperfume\u201d on our necks with kindergarteners is great fun\u2014if the parents don\u2019t see it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lendva<\/strong><br>I\u2019ve heard this story over and over in the past few weeks: grocery shopping is cheaper in any neighboring country than it is here. I\u2019ll say something even harsher: even Switzerland is cheaper than Hungary! I don\u2019t really understand any of it.<br>Whoever I talk to can list, point by point, what\u2019s wrong in this country. And then, from the mouths of people I myself admire, some version of the line appears: \u201csomething will happen.\u201d<br>No. Things don\u2019t just happen. I heard that fragment independently from people I respect; I\u2019m the one who pulled it out of context\u2014so we\u2019re not talking about wishy-washiness. Still, it captures the attitude I kept running into here: we wait.<br>Whose problem is it? Who has an interest in doing something? Or does it not hurt enough yet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pet\u0151fi utca<\/strong><br>Sometimes I feel like I was born into an Italian family! Because with us, everyone really does speak loudly\u2014and this noise is completely normal to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dunakeszi<\/strong><br>Oh my God, so many kids! In theory I know all of them, but I can\u2019t even remember the names anymore. As awkward as I feel, it\u2019s good to arrive. And the homemade soup, and the stew, and the pickles.<br>It wasn\u2019t planned that I\u2019d come here, so I bought a box of sweets for the kids at the airport. A month later it turns out they were the only lucky recipients, because my \u201cgift suitcase\u201d got lost so thoroughly it still hasn\u2019t turned up. Lesson: I shouldn\u2019t overcomplicate this whole gift-giving thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ak\u00e1c utca<\/strong><br>Birthday party. With relatives I haven\u2019t seen in decades.<br>I have opinions\u2014and sometimes conflict-free living isn\u2019t that simple\u2026<br>My cousins are really great. We should throw birthday parties like this more often.<br>All in all, I enjoyed the day, and I was happy to see everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>D\u00f3zsa \u00fat<\/strong><br>Phone bills paid. Egyptian accommodation paid. Train and bus tickets booked. Dinner eaten. Bathroom cleaned. Babysitting accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Toujours en route, parfois chez moi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introduction fran\u00e7aise<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En novembre 2025, il n\u2019y a eu qu\u2019un seul jour o\u00f9 je ne suis all\u00e9e nulle part : sinon, je passais sans cesse de quelqu\u2019un \u00e0 quelqu\u2019un, d\u2019un endroit \u00e0 l\u2019autre. Entre trains, caf\u00e9s et d\u00e9jeuners de famille bruyants, le pays revenait dans les conversations : les prix, la lassitude, et cette \u00e9trange mani\u00e8re d\u2019attendre. Sinon, je vais toujours de quelque part vers quelque part, de quelqu\u2019un vers quelqu\u2019un. Aujourd\u2019hui, c\u2019est en train.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nagykanizsa<\/strong><br>C\u2019est vraiment un \u00ab paraszteloszt\u00f3 \u00bb ! J\u2019ai v\u00e9cu \u00e0 Nagykanizsa entre 1999 et 2004 ; c\u2019est comme \u00e7a qu\u2019on surnommait la gare routi\u00e8re. Le plus dur, c\u2019est qu\u2019en vingt-cinq ans, rien n\u2019a chang\u00e9. M\u00eame peinture, m\u00eame \u00e9tat technique, m\u00eame ambiance, m\u00eame nombre d\u2019alcooliques. \u00c7a doit \u00eatre difficile, pour un \u00e9l\u00e8ve, de se concentrer sur le progr\u00e8s et une vie meilleure quand il traverse cette r\u00e9alit\u00e9 brute deux fois par jour. Les serveurs commencent \u00e0 grogner, mais pas contre moi : ils m\u2019ont prise pour une \u00e9trang\u00e8re, je les entends parler de moi. Int\u00e9ressant : chez nous, \u00e0 Avignon, on te laisserait tranquille. L\u00e0-bas, c\u2019est tout \u00e0 fait normal de s\u2019asseoir sur une terrasse. Encore dix minutes et j\u2019aurai fini les formulaires des imp\u00f4ts, puis je repars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>En Zala<\/strong><br>Un nouveau d\u00e9jeuner de famille, ni silencieux ni exempt de remarques. Pourtant, j\u2019en suis contente.<br>Sauf que\u2026 ce n\u2019est pas comme \u00e7a qu\u2019on est cens\u00e9 provoquer le mal du pays ou l\u2019envie de revenir.<br>Se mettre au cou du gel douche paillet\u00e9 fa\u00e7on \u00ab parfum \u00bb avec des petits de maternelle, c\u2019est dr\u00f4le\u2014si les parents ne le voient pas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lendva<\/strong><br>J\u2019ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 entendu cette histoire maintes fois ces derni\u00e8res semaines : faire les courses est moins cher dans n\u2019importe quel pays voisin qu\u2019ici. Je dis plus fort : m\u00eame la Suisse serait moins ch\u00e8re que la Hongrie ! Je ne comprends pas vraiment tout \u00e7a.<br>Avec qui que je parle, on m\u2019explique point par point quel est le probl\u00e8me dans ce pays. Et puis, de la bouche de personnes que j\u2019admire aussi, surgit dans un certain contexte une demi-phrase : \u00ab il va se passer quelque chose \u00bb.<br>Non. Les choses ne se passent pas \u00ab comme \u00e7a \u00bb. J\u2019ai entendu ce fragment ind\u00e9pendamment, de personnes que j\u2019estime ; c\u2019est moi qui l\u2019ai extrait de son contexte\u2014donc on ne parle pas d\u2019une mollesse quelconque. Pourtant, \u00e7a illustre bien l\u2019attitude que j\u2019ai ressentie dans le pays : on attend.<br>\u00c0 qui appartient le probl\u00e8me ? Qui a int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 faire quelque chose ? Ou bien \u00e7a ne fait pas encore assez mal ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Pet\u0151fi utca<\/strong><br>Parfois, j\u2019ai l\u2019impression d\u2019\u00eatre n\u00e9e dans une famille italienne !
