Today is a mix of stepping outside my comfort zone, rescuing an apartment, and collecting small wins one repair at a time. And yes, I\u2019m from Zala\u2014after one day I already have a bag\u2026 full of bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English body text<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I slept eleven hours straight. Well\u2026 yesterday, instead of a proper night\u2019s sleep, I folded myself into an immaculately clean toilet stall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With coffee in my hand, breakfast in my stomach, and the sun on the terrace, I answer the app\u2019s questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do you feel?<br>Calm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What would you be proud of today?<br>I did it! I made it to Egypt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plans:<br>This weekend is the Formula 1 season finale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What do you need?<br>An alarm clock and some task planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stepping out of your comfort zone?<br>Other than trying to manage in a foreign country? On my own, determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Funny story?<br>I\u2019m from Zala\u2014after one day I already have a bag with bags inside it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The apartment needs to be put in order!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I continue where I left off yesterday. After washing the windows, it turns out this is a genuinely bright apartment. I brought a new frying pan and a small pot, coffee, fruit, vegetables. I even brought a new monitor cable, because the one I packed gives a terrible image with this monitor. And since the TV remote apparently isn\u2019t part of the standard equipment, I reclassified the TV as a computer monitor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By dinner, I manage to fix the broken drying rack. I wash down the terrace, remove a rusty part from the shower\u2014so now you can wash in water that finally looks clean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I set up the bidet. I first got to know this solution six years ago in Dubai. I have to admit, it\u2019s genuinely practical that it doesn\u2019t require toilet paper. If it\u2019s adjusted correctly (even by European standards), it rinses everything clean\u2014quickly and thoroughly. And in a place where locals put on a jacket at 22\u00b0C\u2026 well, everything dries fast anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the evening, I spend another hour wrestling with my local SIM card. I try to make sense of the pricing, but I\u2019m guessing it\u2019s complicated on purpose\u2026 I give up. Instead, I sit at my laptop and let the world know that today I\u2019m fine. Period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hurghada, 2025. 12. 05. Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Red\u00e9marrage \u00e0 Hurghada : calme, r\u00e9parations et bidet<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s onze heures de sommeil, caf\u00e9 \u00e0 la main sur une terrasse ensoleill\u00e9e, \u00e7a y est : je l\u2019ai fait \u2014 je suis arriv\u00e9e en \u00c9gypte. Ma journ\u00e9e oscille entre sortie de zone de confort, sauvetage d\u2019appartement et petites victoires \u00e0 coups de r\u00e9parations. Et oui, je viens de Zala : apr\u00e8s un seul jour, j\u2019ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 un sac\u2026 rempli de sacs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Texte fran\u00e7ais<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J\u2019ai dormi onze heures d\u2019affil\u00e9e. Bon\u2026 hier, au lieu de dormir la nuit, je me suis pli\u00e9e en deux dans une cabine de toilettes d\u2019une propret\u00e9 impeccable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Caf\u00e9 \u00e0 la main, petit-d\u00e9jeuner au ventre, sur une terrasse baign\u00e9e de soleil, je r\u00e9ponds aux questions de l\u2019application :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Que ressens-tu ?<br>Du calme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De quoi serais-tu fi\u00e8re aujourd\u2019hui ?<br>Je l\u2019ai fait ! Je suis arriv\u00e9e en \u00c9gypte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Plans :<br>Ce week-end, c\u2019est la finale de la saison de Formule 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De quoi as-tu besoin ?<br>D\u2019un r\u00e9veil et d\u2019un peu d\u2019organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sortir de ta zone de confort ?<br>\u00c0 part le fait d\u2019essayer de me d\u00e9brouiller dans un pays \u00e9tranger ? Seule, d\u00e9termin\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Une histoire dr\u00f4le ?<br>Je viens de Zala : au bout d\u2019une journ\u00e9e, j\u2019ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 un sac\u2026 avec des sacs dedans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il faut remettre l\u2019appartement en ordre !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alors je reprends l\u00e0 o\u00f9 je me suis arr\u00eat\u00e9e hier. Apr\u00e8s avoir lav\u00e9 les fen\u00eatres, je d\u00e9couvre que c\u2019est un appartement vraiment lumineux. J\u2019ai apport\u00e9 une nouvelle po\u00eale et une petite casserole, du caf\u00e9, des fruits, des l\u00e9gumes. J\u2019ai m\u00eame pris un nouveau c\u00e2ble pour l\u2019\u00e9cran, parce que celui que j\u2019avais donne une qualit\u00e9 d\u2019image inutilisable avec ce moniteur. Et comme la t\u00e9l\u00e9commande de la TV ne semble pas faire partie de l\u2019\u00e9quipement de base, j\u2019ai requalifi\u00e9 la TV en \u00e9cran d\u2019ordinateur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avant le d\u00eener, j\u2019arrive \u00e0 r\u00e9parer l\u2019\u00e9tendoir \u00e0 linge cass\u00e9. Je nettoie la terrasse, j\u2019enl\u00e8ve une pi\u00e8ce rouill\u00e9e dans la douche \u2014 ainsi, on peut enfin se laver dans une eau qui a l\u2019air propre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J\u2019ai install\u00e9 le bidet. J\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert cette solution il y a six ans \u00e0 Duba\u00ef. Je dois l\u2019avouer : c\u2019est vraiment pratique, parce que son usage ne n\u00e9cessite pas de papier toilette. S\u2019il est bien r\u00e9gl\u00e9 (m\u00eame selon des crit\u00e8res europ\u00e9ens), il rince tout proprement \u2014 et rapidement. Et dans un endroit o\u00f9 les habitants mettent une veste \u00e0 22 \u00b0C\u2026 de toute fa\u00e7on, tout s\u00e8che vite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le soir, je passe encore une heure \u00e0 me battre avec ma carte SIM locale. J\u2019essaie de comprendre leur tarification, mais je suppose que ce n\u2019est pas compliqu\u00e9 par hasard\u2026 J\u2019abandonne. Je m\u2019assois plut\u00f4t devant l\u2019ordinateur et j\u2019annonce au monde qu\u2019aujourd\u2019hui, je vais bien. Point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hurghada, 2025. 12. 05.
