Schoolyard \u201cbig-dog\u201d dynamics echo into world politics, while the horn becomes a universal street language. And then something flickers in the water\u2014small, dolphin-like, with a shark-fin silhouette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">English body text<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In January 2026. In Hurghada.<br>I gathered a few stray notes from my diary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wolf rules<\/strong><br>Everywhere. Right now, at the queue in a Hurghada supermarket.<br>These people not only don\u2019t know the rules\u2014they don\u2019t even understand why rules are necessary.<br>Yes; and it\u2019s me saying this, the one who dances between rules the way someone who only <em>wants<\/em> to tango would.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two remarks are squeezing in here:<br>We can only live together if we adapt to each other!<br>Originally, rules were created so that this adaptation would require the least possible sacrifice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To break rules, we first have to learn how to follow them.<br>So said Pablo Picasso, who painted classical landscapes at the very beginning of his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s not about knowing\u2014it\u2019s about understanding!<br>Nowadays, understanding things may be even more important than knowledge (take that however you want).<br>For lexical knowledge, there\u2019s Google and the rest.<br>Google can produce pinpoint conclusions from statistics; but it will never see the world in its human web of connections the way we do.<br>If you don\u2019t understand the motivations behind theories, you\u2019ll never be able to use them creatively.<br>So you\u2019ll be barely more than a well-trained robot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dog-eat-dog world<\/strong><br>Think back a little to your high school years. Surely your class also had loudmouths who talked themselves out of every situation. And of course there were the strong ones.<br>Among the strong, some just put on a tight T-shirt (signaling: it\u2019s not wise to pick a fight here).<br>And then there were the aggressive ones, the power-showers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Small shift: an interviewee happened to say that right now, in world politics, the principle of \u201cthe stronger dog f@cks\u201d is what prevails.<br>Now back to high school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During breaks, around whom did the \u201ctoo-strong\u201d ones gather? Who did they watch? Who did they stroll with in the hallway?<br>What was the mood in the orbit of someone who was considered strong, but didn\u2019t hurt others of their own will?<br>How did the inner world change for someone who ended up on the periphery of the aggressive ones?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Listen, one more switch: whose tracks do <em>you<\/em> want to follow\u2014the big dog\u2019s?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>From West to East<\/strong><br>They\u2019re carrying a wheelbarrow on a motorbike. Do they really think I haven\u2019t already been stopped by about six hundred people today?<br>What makes him different from the previous ones?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New profile on the dating app<\/strong><br>I\u2019m looking for someone I can travel with across regions, through thoughts. Let\u2019s dance together from the now into eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On the street<\/strong><br>Here the entertainment is strolling up and down the street and leaning on the horn. La logique de \u00ab gros chien \u00bb du lyc\u00e9e fait \u00e9cho \u00e0 la politique mondiale, tandis que le klaxon devient une langue universelle. L\u00e0, tout de suite, dans la file d\u2019attente d\u2019un supermarch\u00e9 \u00e0 Hurghada.<br>Ces gens ne connaissent pas seulement mal les r\u00e8gles : ils ne comprennent m\u00eame pas pourquoi elles sont n\u00e9cessaires.<br>Oui ; et c\u2019est moi qui dis \u00e7a, moi qui danse entre les r\u00e8gles comme quelqu\u2019un qui ne ferait que <em>vouloir<\/em> danser le tango.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deux remarques s\u2019imposent ici :<br>On ne peut vivre ensemble qu\u2019en s\u2019adaptant les uns aux autres !<br>\u00c0 l\u2019origine, les r\u00e8gles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es pour que cette adaptation demande le moins de renoncements possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour pouvoir enfreindre les r\u00e8gles, il faut d\u2019abord apprendre \u00e0 les appliquer.<br>C\u2019est Pablo Picasso qui l\u2019a dit, lui qui, au tout d\u00e9but, peignait des paysages classiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il ne faut pas seulement savoir : il faut comprendre !<br>Aujourd\u2019hui, comprendre est peut-\u00eatre encore plus important que le savoir (entends-le comme tu veux).<br>Pour le savoir \u00ab encyclop\u00e9dique \u00bb, il y a Google et les autres.<br>Google sait tirer des conclusions ultra-pr\u00e9cises \u00e0 partir de statistiques ; mais il ne verra jamais le monde dans ses liens et ses couches comme nous, les humains.<br>Si tu ne comprends pas les motivations derri\u00e8re les th\u00e9ories, tu ne pourras jamais les utiliser de fa\u00e7on cr\u00e9ative.<br>Donc tu seras \u00e0 peine plus qu\u2019un robot bien \u00e9lev\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Monde de chiens<\/strong><br>Repense un peu \u00e0 tes ann\u00e9es de lyc\u00e9e. Dans ta classe aussi, il y avait s\u00fbrement des grandes gueules qui se d\u00e9brouillaient \u00e0 force de parler. Et puis, \u00e9videmment, il y avait les forts.<br>Parmi les forts, certains se contentaient d\u2019enfiler un T-shirt moulant (histoire de signaler : ce n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s malin de chercher des noises ici).<br>Et puis il y avait les agressifs, ceux qui \u00e9talaient leur force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Petit changement de sujet : un invit\u00e9 d\u2019interview a dit qu\u2019en ce moment, en politique mondiale, c\u2019est le principe \u00ab le plus fort gagne \/ le plus fort \u00e9crase \u00bb qui s\u2019impose.<br>Bon, retour au lyc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pendant les pauses, autour de qui se rassemblaient ceux qui \u00e9taient \u00ab trop forts \u00bb ? Qui regardaient-ils ? Avec qui se promenaient-ils dans le couloir ?<br>Quelle \u00e9tait l\u2019ambiance dans l\u2019orbite de celui qui \u00e9tait fort, mais qui, de lui-m\u00eame, ne faisait pas de mal aux autres ?<br>Et comment \u00e9voluait le monde int\u00e9rieur de celui qui se retrouvait \u00e0 la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie des agressifs ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c9coute, encore un virage : toi, tu voudrais suivre la trace de quel gros chien ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>D\u2019Ouest en Est<\/strong><br>Sur une moto, ils transportent une brouette. \u00c0 deux.
