Then it turned out that writing a diary is like level one, and a month later – while editing the blog post – I reread what I wrote and summarize my life a bit like an outsider. If the travelinglaci project has no other benefit, it helps to look at my own life from a different perspective, so it’s worth the half-hour to an hour I spend on it every day.
Tomorrow, I have to respond to the messages that I have been neglecting for a week. It happened again that I responded to anything on my day off.
Anyway, today was a normal weekday. I wouldn’t say that this is a very bad place at the moment, but it’s not good either. These two sentences are true for many things and many people on this property. I have to admit that my work is not bad, but it’s not good. That’s why I can say that it’s never worse, but it’s still a crazy place. Plus, the advantage is that I’m not really tired; for example, I didn’t work yesterday afternoon; I went to the city to see an exhibition, and today I had time to think about tomorrow and even had time for laziness and doing nothing – I dedicated the whole afternoon to this. I didn’t have much to do in the kitchen today anyway. I helped the pastry chef, who had infinite patience with me.
My hands have been shaking since my childhood, which I attribute to my lack of good manual dexterity; I can’t decorate nicely. I can draw nicely with a compass and ruler, but freehand never worked for me. Well, and today I needed freehand decoration. It’s not working, but I won’t give up; even if I won’t be a champion, I will definitely succeed in making a normal-looking dessert at some point.
So, I just can’t find my place, so I don’t have my goal in this kitchen anymore, why and what I should be good at.
