After his death, he donated his palace to the city, where today his family&#8217;s collection of paintings is displayed. By the way, the building offers a beautiful view of the river.<br>I jotted down a few sentences on small notes while admiring the paintings and photos. If I read correctly, there&#8217;s an exhibition &#8211; a selection of works by two relatively older gentlemen. (Sorry if I misunderstood, my French is weak.) The essence is that these artists typically capture their work on monochrome slides. I&#8217;ll transcribe the sentences that came to mind while browsing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In one room, they hung a two-sided mirror in the corner on a string. It&#8217;s a simple yet brilliant idea. The movement of the shadows adds playfulness to the space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In several rooms, they played with inserting a photo among paintings from different eras, connecting the paintings: A clever move to place 1960s nude photos on either side of a 17th-century female nude painting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I always appreciate when they showcase pieces that stand out from the era and style (based on birth date, not typical of the era): 18th-century paintings with false emotions. Finally, something different from the usual of the era.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At this point, I have to note that this museum has become a favorite of mine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This photographer truly admired the female body. He looked at the models with sensitivity. I almost feel like they are sophisticated sculptures. Perhaps, this is what they call photographic art.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To capture simple waterside branches in a way that has aesthetics. This guy knew something. Let&#8217;s add, he did everything in black and white!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This guy is amazing! He turned a simple tree trunk into art! They truly brought out the best of fine arts from the techniques available in his era.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It&#8217;s difficult (perhaps, not even necessary) to replicate that world where you had to turn off the device after every thirty-six frames.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Well, well! Picasso painted a picture of the women of Arles! Although I&#8217;m not a fan of this style, it&#8217;s a charming painting. Yes, the word that comes to mind for me is: cute. I&#8217;ve seen many Picasso works, and this is one of those that I like.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The lady guard &#8211; after wandering around for an hour and a half &#8211; saw the enthusiastic visitor in me and kept following me, narrating continuously. Oh, poor thing, I wish I understood her.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I confess, I don&#8217;t remember in what context I created this note: We can only make ethical decisions!
