The musical joy of the brass bands, the communal celebrations of friends, and the supportive community spirit were palpable everywhere. The rescue process following the accident highlighted the importance of people&#8217;s willingness to help each other and the need for quick, effective assistance. The emotions experienced during the events and the mutual care will leave a lasting impression on all of us.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div style=\"top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%;\">\t\t\t\t<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"20240908_183102\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;\"  src=\"https:\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/photos\/53980979738\" width=\"800\" height=\"373\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/laszlo8360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/1000020276.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1008\" height=\"5601\" src=\"https:\/\/laszlo8360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/1000020276.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4391\" srcset=\"https:\/\/laszlo8360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/1000020276.png 1008w, https:\/\/laszlo8360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/1000020276-54x300.png 54w, https:\/\/laszlo8360.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/1000020276-768x4267.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1008px) 100vw, 1008px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the incredible, fantastic concert series yesterday, I slept in until ten today, followed by a lazy day of watching series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I arrive in the city at two in the afternoon; they are getting ready for the bull run again, and I found the most delicious kebab sandwich yet, with the most amazing white sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bulls are coming, and a paramedic is running towards them. One of the women herding the bulls fell off her horse. I didn&#8217;t witness the incident, I arrive as a tourist after the disaster. The horsewoman is on the ground. There are no visible injuries. The concern is that she doesn&#8217;t feel any pain. So, she might be paralyzed. The ambulance arrives almost immediately, but by then the on-site medic has already stabilized her leg. The paramedics place her on a special stretcher, then inflate a rubber mattress underneath, which surrounds her, allowing them to transport her without moving her spine. One moment, one small wrong move somewhere, and it&#8217;s a lifetime of being stuck. Just twenty minutes after the fall, she&#8217;s being put into the ambulance; everyone is applauding. Another ten minutes until the ambulance sets off, as it&#8217;s not an urgent case, just serious. The patient is fully conscious and crying. It&#8217;s reassuring that the paramedic calmly bids farewell to the family member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I need another half-hour walk to calm down. The downtown feels like there&#8217;s some kind of brass band gathering. Every square, big or small, has a brass band playing. I love this atmosphere. Yesterday, I danced with an incredibly good brass band in an alley, with men in skirts and women in hats. Today, they played in everyday clothes for a residential community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s customary around here for neighbors to occasionally celebrate: they set up a few chairs and tables on the street, one brings a cake, another brings cheese. Yesterday&#8217;s brass band played on top of a few of these tables. I also saw such a neighbor-organized celebration with another band. I don&#8217;t understand this week-long series of celebrations, but I see that literally every house and square in the entire downtown is celebrating something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the afternoon, I sat down for coffee and ice cream, and what do you know: another and then another brass band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At six in the evening, I sat down for dinner at Paddy&#8217;s terrace, because another band was playing on the square, and since they were there, they played occasionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most bizarre thing about all this is that yesterday and today, I feel like they&#8217;re playing joyful tunes. At no point did I feel like there&#8217;s a planned performance that they strictly adhere to, then take the money and move on to the next place. It seems like everyone here is playing because they enjoy it; they improvise, they laugh. These are not theatrical performances.
