I like being among them here, and eating spaghetti facing Mary, but this work still makes no sense until I know what I want.<br>The Prophet Beach.<br>That\u2019s what they call that peninsula-like sandy spur framed by rocky shorelines.<br>It\u2019s thirty-nine degrees at six in the evening; a beer hits the spot.<br>I sunbathe, I swim, I splash about in happiness.<br>And really, how could anyone be sad while tasting the sea\u2019s salty scent in their nose?!<br>Meanwhile I translate three-line poems\u2014haikus\u2014from French into Hungarian; it helps me switch off.<br>I bought this book on Wednesday; twenty little snippets, with twenty graphics to match.<br>I laughed at the title when I first saw it, and I didn\u2019t put it down:<br>Haikus by the Sea.<br>I saw a royal-blue scooter so beautiful that I\u2019d even feel like riding a motorbike, though I\u2019m not a fan of that at all.<br>Only my eyes crave it:<br>a hamburger with avocado.<br>I love how they make it at the station.<br>I can barely finish it; ordering it wasn\u2019t necessary at all.<br>By half past nine I\u2019m already on the main square of Maussane-les-Alpilles, waiting for the Solaris production to start; concert and dance show; this crew is quite good.<br>I don\u2019t dance much.<br>After all:<br>even a Duracell battery runs out eventually.<br>By midnight I\u2019m already in bed.<br>Unfortunately in a bed, and not on the sand by the sea.<br>Unfortunately alone; or rather, the unfortunate part is just that I use the bed only for sleeping.<br>It will get better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marseille, 15\/08\/2025, vendredi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barbotage du matin, danse du soir \u2014 entre les deux : travail, bus, v\u00e9lo et ha\u00efkus.<br>Des spaghettis aux champignons et au bacon rassemblent les saveurs du jour, et une bi\u00e8re rafra\u00eechit m\u00eame par trente-neuf degr\u00e9s.<br>Note du vendredi depuis Marseille, de la plage du Proph\u00e8te jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la place de Maussane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Marseille, 15\/08\/2025, vendredi<br>Des spaghettis aux champignons et au bacon rassemblent les minutes pass\u00e9es dans la mer.<br>Ce n\u2019est pas si mal de commencer la journ\u00e9e dans l\u2019eau et de la finir sur la piste de danse.<br>Entre les deux : un peu de travail, des trajets en bus, de la marche, des trains, du v\u00e9lo, l\u2019\u00e9dition de ha\u00efkus, des plages de sable, des panoramas rocheux.<br>Le r\u00e9veil sonne \u00e0 six heures, mais peu importe quand mon premier regard tombe sur la baie qui s\u2019\u00e9veille.<br>Appeler cet exercice \u00ab nager \u00bb est exag\u00e9r\u00e9, mais m\u00eame cinq minutes de barbotage font un bien fou.<br>Aujourd\u2019hui j\u2019aide dans un restaurant pr\u00e8s des Calanques, ce qui fait du bien ; j\u2019aime \u00eatre ici parmi eux et manger des spaghettis face \u00e0 Marie, mais ce travail n\u2019a de sens tant que je ne sais pas ce que je veux.<br>La plage du Proph\u00e8te.<br>C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019on appelle cette avanc\u00e9e sablonneuse en forme de presqu\u2019\u00eele, encadr\u00e9e de c\u00f4tes rocheuses.<br>Il fait trente-neuf degr\u00e9s \u00e0 dix-huit heures ; une bi\u00e8re fait du bien.<br>Je bronze, je nage, je barbote dans le bonheur.<br>Et comment pourrait-on \u00eatre triste quand on go\u00fbte l\u2019odeur sal\u00e9e de la mer dans son nez ?!<br>Pendant ce temps je traduis des po\u00e8mes en trois vers \u2014 des ha\u00efkus \u2014 du fran\u00e7ais vers le hongrois ; \u00e7a me vide la t\u00eate.<br>J\u2019ai achet\u00e9 ce livre mercredi ; vingt petites fulgurances, accompagn\u00e9es de vingt gravures.<br>J\u2019ai ri au titre quand je l\u2019ai vu pour la premi\u00e8re fois, et je ne l\u2019ai plus l\u00e2ch\u00e9 :<br>Ha\u00efkus au bord de la mer.<br>J\u2019ai vu un scooter bleu roi si beau que j\u2019aurais m\u00eame envie de faire de la moto, alors que je n\u2019en suis pas du tout adepte.<br>Seuls mes yeux en ont envie :<br>un hamburger \u00e0 l\u2019avocat.<br>J\u2019adore la fa\u00e7on dont ils le pr\u00e9parent \u00e0 la gare.<br>J\u2019ai du mal \u00e0 le finir ; il n\u2019\u00e9tait pas du tout n\u00e9cessaire de le commander.<br>\u00c0 neuf heures et demie je suis d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur la place principale de Maussane-les-Alpilles, \u00e0 attendre le d\u00e9but du spectacle Solaris ; concert et spectacle de danse ; cette \u00e9quipe est plut\u00f4t dou\u00e9e.<br>Je ne danse pas beaucoup.<br>Apr\u00e8s tout :<br>m\u00eame une pile Duracell se d\u00e9charge un jour.<br>\u00c0 minuit, je suis d\u00e9j\u00e0 au lit.<br>Malheureusement au lit, et non sur le sable de la mer.<br>Malheureusement seul\u00b7e ;
