August 29, 2023
Today was an easy day.
The new waiter arrived from Budapest. He brought Gyulai dry sausage. It’s fantastic how simple it is to make me happy :))
I don’t even know how to convey the significance of this – here in France, where I haven’t tasted home flavors for four months.
I thought I would be more nervous because there’s no private room again. The hotel manager reassured me that it’s only for two weeks, then I’ll get a separate room.
Why do I throw a fit about the lack of my own room? Because I feel homeless. I decided not to move back home. So, I have nowhere to go back to. There’s not a single stable point in my life. For the first time in my history, this is missing. I also owe this to Bea. When she jokingly asked for my hand, I realized that I also long for a permanent address, a wife, a family. Thank you, Bea!
It’s cold today. At 10 PM, it’s seventeen degrees. This is considered chilly here. We wear coats when it’s below twenty degrees.
It’s a full moon again today. I admired it while riding the scooter. Today, I’m saying the same thing: This moment is mine alone. This experience didn’t cost anything.
It’s these small wonders that make life beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aujourd’hui a \u00e9t\u00e9 une journ\u00e9e facile.
Le nouveau serveur est arriv\u00e9 de Budapest. Il a apport\u00e9 de la saucisse s\u00e8che Gyulai. C’est fantastique \u00e0 quel point il est simple de me rendre heureux :))
Je ne sais m\u00eame pas comment exprimer l’importance de cela – ici en France, o\u00f9 je n’ai pas go\u00fbt\u00e9 aux saveurs de chez moi depuis quatre mois.
Je pensais que je serais plus nerveux car il n’y a pas de chambre priv\u00e9e \u00e0 nouveau. Le directeur de l’h\u00f4tel m’a rassur\u00e9 en disant que ce n’\u00e9tait que pour deux semaines, puis j’aurais une chambre s\u00e9par\u00e9e.
Pourquoi est-ce que je me plains du manque de ma propre chambre ? Parce que je me sens sans domicile. J’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de ne pas retourner chez moi. Donc, je n’ai nulle part o\u00f9 retourner. Il n’y a pas un seul point stable dans ma vie. Pour la premi\u00e8re fois de mon histoire, cela manque. Je le dois aussi \u00e0 Bea. Quand elle m’a demand\u00e9 en plaisantant ma main, j’ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que je d\u00e9sire aussi une adresse permanente, une femme, une famille. Merci, Bea !
Il fait froid aujourd’hui. \u00c0 22h, il fait dix-sept degr\u00e9s. C’est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme frais ici. Nous portons des manteaux quand il fait moins de vingt degr\u00e9s.
C’est encore une pleine lune aujourd’hui. Je l’ai admir\u00e9e en roulant en scooter. Aujourd’hui, je dis la m\u00eame chose : Ce moment m’appartient seul. Cette exp\u00e9rience n’a rien co\u00fbt\u00e9.
Ce sont ces petites merveilles qui rendent la vie belle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9n nem is tudom hogyan lehetne ennek \u00e9rz\u00e9keltetni a jelent\u0151s\u00e9g\u00e9t – Itt Franciaorsz\u00e1gban, \u00fagy, hogy n\u00e9gy h\u00f3napja nem tal\u00e1lkoztam hazai \u00edzektel.
\u00c9n azt hittem, hogy idegesebb leszek, mert megint nincs priv\u00e1t terem. A hotel vezet\u0151 azzal nyugtatott meg, hogy csak k\u00e9t h\u00e9t, ut\u00e1na kap k\u00fcl\u00f6n szob\u00e1t.
