Poisoning a woman’s emotional world hurts. It hurts her instantly, while for a man, it stings much later.
I wonder how many times and by how many people her soul has been poisoned for her to become so guarded.
It’s not the first time she turns towards me as I approach to greet her, only to head in a different direction. It’s not overt, but now that it’s happened for the umpteenth time\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe she doesn’t mean harm, it’s just that her idea of good isn’t quite like this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The thing is, unlike her, I neither know nor want to pretend. If I want to avoid someone, it’s clear to me. I won’t put on a show of kindness and then conveniently dodge them afterwards. There must be a reason for her behavior. It infuriates me to think about how many men had to hurt her for her to develop such reflexes.
I genuinely cared for her, I adored her. And now that I’m no longer anticipating her every wish, no longer serving her interests, is this what I get? Why?

I admit, it’s incredibly childish of me to accidentally use the more intense pepper while preparing her breakfast. As my anthropologist friend used to say: either win them over or scare them off \u2013 that was the ancient principle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll give her the chance to clarify if maybe I’ve been mistaken about all of this. I’ll continue to play out the local form of greeting, but we don’t have to speak to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empoisonner l’\u00e2me d’une femme fait mal. Imm\u00e9diatement pour la femme, beaucoup plus tard pour l’homme.
Je me demande combien de personnes et combien de fois la sienne a \u00e9t\u00e9 empoisonn\u00e9e avant qu’elle ne devienne si \u00e9go\u00efste ?
Ce n’est pas la premi\u00e8re fois qu’il le fait, marchant vers moi pour me saluer et partant dans une autre direction. Ce n’est pas spectaculaire, mais c’est la \u00e9ni\u00e8me fois que cela se produit.
Je crois qu’il ne veut pas bien faire, c’est juste que le bien n’est pas comme \u00e7a.
Le probl\u00e8me, c’est que contrairement \u00e0 lui, je ne peux pas et je ne veux pas faire semblant. Si je veux \u00e9viter quelqu’un, c’est \u00e9vident pour moi. Contrairement \u00e0 lui, je ne fais pas semblant d’\u00eatre gentille pour ensuite l’\u00e9viter accidentellement tout le temps. Il doit y avoir une raison pour qu’il soit comme \u00e7a. Cela me met en col\u00e8re de penser au nombre de gars qu’il a fallu blesser pour qu’elle d\u00e9veloppe ces r\u00e9flexes.
J’\u00e9tais tr\u00e8s gentil avec elle, je l’aimais. Et maintenant que je ne suis plus \u00e0 l’aff\u00fbt de ses moindres caprices, que je ne sers plus ses int\u00e9r\u00eats, c’est ce que j’obtiens ? Pourquoi ?
