It was the last day, a mix of difficulty and ease. My tears were flowing, mostly where no one could see. For instance, Bea didn’t see my tiny tears because I was clinging to her shoulder. Both of us knew that we had just seen each other for the last time\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was an easy day. Just one last cleaning and packing, then a \u00ab\u00a0shared\u00a0\u00bb lunch, and slowly everyone said goodbye to everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s mentally challenging. On one hand, the weight of the decision that I stay here while practically everyone else is fleeing from this place. By the way, Tif is an attractive woman too. Today was awkward for me because I saw her in civilian clothes, and my jaw dropped visibly. It would be nice to meet her again, but this might remain just a dream. No problem, I’ll go to the village in the afternoon; she said she might be there. This \u00ab\u00a0might\u00a0\u00bb is enough to direct my roller-skating-walking route towards her. (So, one day later, I reveal that she wasn’t in the village anymore. Never mind, roller-skating is a relaxation for me.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I torment myself and doubt. Am I making the right decision by staying here? The (former) colleagues don’t understand. Moreover, they might even consider me some kind of traitor because I’ve often said that, in my opinion too, this is a bad workplace. And indeed, it’s not the best workplace. However, if I don’t have to go back to Hungary, it’s an opportunity for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In exchange for the room, I’ll help a bit with the winter tasks, but before that, I’ll go on vacation to Barcelona. My ticket is already booked, and the accommodation is paid for. I’m leaving on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’\u00e9tait le dernier jour, \u00e0 la fois difficile et facile. Mes larmes coulaient. Principalement l\u00e0 o\u00f9 personne ne pouvait les voir. Par exemple, Bea n’a pas vu mes petites larmes, car je m’accrochais \u00e0 son \u00e9paule. Nous savions tous les deux que nous nous \u00e9tions vus pour la derni\u00e8re fois\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’\u00e9tait une journ\u00e9e facile. Juste un dernier nettoyage et emballage, puis un d\u00e9jeuner \u00ab\u00a0commun\u00a0\u00bb, et lentement, chacun a dit au revoir \u00e0 tout le monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est mentalement difficile. D’une part, le poids de la d\u00e9cision que je reste ici, tandis que tout le monde s’enfuit pratiquement. Au fait, Tif est aussi une femme attirante. Aujourd’hui, c’\u00e9tait g\u00eanant pour moi car je l’ai vue en civil et ma m\u00e2choire est tomb\u00e9e. Ce serait bien de la revoir, mais cela pourrait rester un r\u00eave. Pas de probl\u00e8me, je vais passer l’apr\u00e8s-midi dans le village, elle a dit qu’elle serait peut-\u00eatre l\u00e0. Ce \u00ab\u00a0peut-\u00eatre\u00a0\u00bb est suffisant pour orienter mon trajet en roller aujourd’hui dans sa direction. (Ainsi, un jour plus tard, je r\u00e9v\u00e8le d\u00e9j\u00e0 qu’elle n’\u00e9tait plus au village. Peu importe, le roller est une d\u00e9tente pour moi.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je me torture et doute de moi-m\u00eame. Est-ce que je fais le bon choix en restant ici ? Les (anciens) coll\u00e8gues ne comprennent pas. En fait, ils me consid\u00e8rent peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame comme une sorte de tra\u00eetre, car j’ai souvent dit que, selon moi aussi, c’est un mauvais endroit de travail. Et en effet, ce n’est pas le meilleur endroit de travail. Cependant, si je n’ai pas besoin de retourner en Hongrie, c’est une opportunit\u00e9 pour moi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En \u00e9change de la chambre, j’aide un peu aux travaux d’hiver, mais avant cela, je pars en vacances \u00e0 Barcelone. Mon billet est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pris, l’h\u00e9bergement est pay\u00e9. Je pars mardi matin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
