Barcelona is the city where one finally realizes that there is no tourist attraction without tourists. And the non-touristy places will be the first to be reported by tourist magazines. So it will be much easier if we try to work together. After all, we have already outgrown this planet. For example, there’s this girl showing me a photo of Barcelona without people. A Barcelona photo without a crowd – totally surreal. She showed the large staircase of G\u00fcell Park from her travel book. She was curious about where this is in real life. I guess she’s now going to the main entrance and taking a photo just like the one she saw in her book. I just hope that she will still go around the other three-quarters of G\u00fcell Park and listen to the birds joining in the guitar solos. Will she notice the colorful flowers under the bushes? I, for instance, also took a photo of them.
Sometimes, it’s not even about the photography but the symbolism of the gesture. Phones are raised everywhere. Perhaps capturing the moment is not the essence. The more cameras flash, the more popular the action. It’s just another kind of like button.
What do people do first? They look at the camera screen. It’s as if they don’t really experience the moment. But no, that’s not it. Just differently. Their world is different. What I don’t understand, but also don’t want to interpret. In reality, I wouldn’t consider it a problem as long as we accept each other as we are.
If the selfie-centered world were really as big of a problem as many think, then today’s teenagers and twenty-somethings would all be suffering, but in reality, they just complain. They know very well that their lives aren’t so bad. So, the problem we’re talking about doesn’t exist. We are just outsiders in our own world. At least, that’s how I feel.
If this world were really so bad, then today’s youth would be crying on each other’s shoulders, but that’s not what’s happening. It’s more about this being a different world. What we don’t understand enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COOL DESSERTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When licking ice cream and eating churros, the key is always to ask for a cream of the same color as your shirt. If that’s not possible, make sure to have a versatile baby butt wipe in your bag. Churros are a donut-like dessert, which, in my opinion, is best dipped in chocolate.
And what comes to mind about chocolate? The problem with seemingly strong women is that they are as stable as a cute chocolate mousse under a porcelain lid. Delicate, they break down and disappear in the arms of a man.
Regarding Tiffel, my assumption is that someone who seems cool and laid-back is probably broken inside. What is that slow pain that acts so slowly that one doesn’t even realize it’s consuming them? There are rumors. Of course, a rumor has as much to do with reality as Barcelona has to places without tourists. Rumors say he had a suppressed childhood with harsh parents. Who knows. Who can know what’s behind his coolness.
Since I mentioned a rightfully popular Spanish dessert. I found a man whose unique idea deserves an award. I was walking in a dark alley (between two shopping streets). A man came after me. He kept saying he was a cop. I didn’t believe him. I sped up. He tried to reach me while explaining he was the police. He showed something resembling a badge. I turned into a larger store where there are cameras and security. There, I asked him what he wanted. He said he wanted my bag. Also, he showed an ID with no photo or name. I repeated a bit louder what exactly he wanted. He noticed security watching. I told him my coat was there. He hurriedly left.
I have to pay even more attention to everything and everyone. I’m thinking that it didn’t even occur to me to resist, and I wasn’t calm enough to explain to him why his story was unrealistic. I didn’t say anything to him. I instinctively distanced myself and hurried to a safer place. There was another guy grinning nearby. I think he was his buddy. So maybe it wasn’t necessary to confront him. All I can do next time is pay more attention to everything.
