WHERE TO FIND GOOD SOUVENIRS? AT THE SEASIDE IN THE END<\/strong> In my opinion, the seaside is not the main attraction of Barcelona. It’s an oversized port. For example, Marseille’s port is also crowded, but they make sure to preserve the panorama somewhat. Here, they just filled the peninsula extending into the water with large buildings. Well, I wonder what it would be like in summer, lying on the beach sand. Because this time, I didn’t go to that side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Perhaps the port could still be part of a good day. You could take a long walk. Start from Barceloneta metro in the morning, then the Santa Maria Basilica, lunch in the narrow alleys of El Born, then find the Arc de Triomphe, then a ten-minute walk to Pla\u00e7a Catalunya, then La Rambla down. Finally, wait for the sunset on the spectacular Rambla de Mar promenade or around Marem\u00e1gnum square. Then, during the blue hour, a pleasant leisurely walk. You eat well at the market, words for lunch, and some fruits. From the cathedral, an elegant pedestrian street leads to Pla\u00e7a Catalunya. On the other corner of the square is a flamenco theater, then you can end the day on Rambla de Catalunya, which is essentially the continuation of La Rambla, but here, there are no vendors and entertainers, but bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors. The seven-euro entrance is really cheap, the eight-euro drink is considered normal, but in return, there are no low-quality drinks, and the waiters don’t like water. Then another row, just so the girls in their group can see well what the idiot is doing. I hope he gets tired before it starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, in Avignon, I bought a twenty-euro ticket twice. While here, after five minutes, it’s clear that it’s better than anything so far. All this for seven euros! So far, I thought only women danced flamenco with passion, everyone else is just garnish. Well, this big piece of a man is really giving it his all. RACE<\/strong>
<\/strong>There are average vendors selling the same Chinese trinkets everywhere. Buy from them if you fall in love with a particular pattern, like I did with the bull-themed t-shirt. Then there are state-operated\/supported souvenir shops, usually located near major museums. They sell somewhat pricier but quite good pieces with thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship. You should check out each of them as these shops align with the nearby exhibition. Buy from these stores if you plan to use the product for years \u2013 like I did with the eyeglass case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Saturday night, I bought a ticket for the 10 pm flamenco show, so on Sunday, I plan a relaxed morning. It goes so well that I start exploring the city at 3 pm.
Last day, I had to return the room key. They keep an eye on my bag until late at night for three euros.
Breakfast in the nearby caf\u00e9. The plan for today is to go down to the port for the sunset, then settle in for the flamenco show in the evening. I don’t like thinking about the night bus; I’d prefer to postpone the departure by a few hundred years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it’s a bit confusing to see four waiters bustling around me. All are cheerful, sometimes even dancing. What’s the need for so many waiters in such a small place? What are they preparing for? Maybe the street will be crowded at midnight? The owner, obsessed with toggling disco lights to Latin music, seems to not only understand quality drinks but also how to build a team. Each has their own personality. By the way, there are only two customers at 7 pm that evening.
For example, there’s the diligent girl behind the bar, who is diligent only to complain later. She just does visual tasks. Next to her is the mixer guy, who really pays attention to customers, doesn’t do unnecessary tricks but serves everyone, keeps everything in order; he carries the place on his shoulders. No wonder he’s the owner’s favorite. And of course, well yes, you need a little royal lady in the team, who chats with everyone, maintains a pleasant atmosphere but isn’t good at hard work. After a bar like this in Barcelona, I seriously wonder if I really want to stay among rigid French?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
