It seems that his hairstyle manages to avoid the Mistral. It feels like traveling in the ninety kilometers per hour wind as if someone is constantly pushing against me. Because, you have to move. You can’t stay at home for days. These are not just gusts of wind. Its speed and direction remain unchanged for days. Until now, I didn’t notice that the treetops are slightly more bushy in the southern direction. It’s not surprising that the old houses are oriented to face northwest, with the support wall facing precisely that direction. I already found it strange in the summer that the bell towers don’t have a roof; there’s only a steel structure holding the bell. I thought back then, why bother since it never rains here. That’s true, and this way, the wind doesn’t catch the top. One positive aspect is that there is no rain. It’s indeed rare to see rain and wind at the same time. This is also thanks to the Mistral. The Mistral is nothing but a massive, dry, cold air mass rushing from the interior of the country (from Lyon) towards Marseille (toward the Gulf of Lion). And since it’s a dry air mass, it sweeps away the clouds. The sky is bright, the air is fresh. I don’t quite understand the reason, but I read that its greatest strength is right here and in the Rhone Valley. During this time, the air also cools. Right now, at ten o’clock in the evening, the thermometer shows zero degrees Celsius. If the wind subsides, the air under the cloud cover rises to 15-20 degrees Celsius.

Gar\u00e7on du quartier : il court comme un fou dans la rue. Sa coiffure semble avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 contourn\u00e9e par le Mistral.
J’ai l’impression que quelqu’un se tient devant moi et me pousse constamment en arri\u00e8re. Parce qu’il faut bouger. On ne peut pas rester chez soi pendant des jours. Ce ne sont pas des rafales de vent. La vitesse et la direction sont les m\u00eames pendant des jours. Jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, je n’avais m\u00eame pas remarqu\u00e9 que le couvert v\u00e9g\u00e9tal \u00e9tait un peu plus large au sud. Il n’est pas surprenant que les vieilles maisons soient orient\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 ce que le mur de sout\u00e8nement soit tourn\u00e9 vers le nord-ouest. M\u00eame en \u00e9t\u00e9, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 frapp\u00e9 par le fait que les clochers n’ont pas de toit, mais seulement une structure en fer qui soutient une cloche au-dessus d’eux. Je me suis dit, \u00e0 quoi bon, il ne pleut pas ici de toute fa\u00e7on. C’est vrai aussi, ou alors le vent n’arrache pas le toit. Le fait qu’il ne pleuve pas est un point positif. Il est vraiment rare de voir la pluie et le vent en m\u00eame temps. C’est aussi gr\u00e2ce au Mistral. Car le Mistral est une \u00e9norme masse d’air sec et froid qui s’engouffre de l’int\u00e9rieur du pays (de Lyon) \u00e0 Marseille (vers la Baie des Lions). Et comme c’est une masse d’air sec, il souffle l’air. Le ciel est lumineux, l’air est frais. Je n’en comprends pas encore la raison, mais j’ai lu que la plus grande force se trouve ici, dans la vall\u00e9e du Rh\u00f4ne. L’air se refroidit \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0. \u00c0 dix heures du soir, le thermom\u00e8tre affiche z\u00e9ro degr\u00e9. Lorsque le vent se calme, l’air monte \u00e0 15-20 degr\u00e9s Celsius sous la couverture nuageuse.
