On 04
January 2023, I visited the tax office and asked about any outstanding matters. To my surprise, I was told that my state health insurance had not been paid.   Even though I don’t have a permanent address or GP in Budapest, I was informed that a new rule requires me to pay for health insurance regardless of usage. When you’re short on cash, debt collectors can be relentless.  Earlier today, I reached out to a former colleague in Strasbourg for advice and they recommended paying off the debt to avoid any further harassment. Once I’ve paid, I’ll need to provide proof of my French insurance in order to claim a refund. If I explain my situation to the French office, there’s a chance they may not fully understand my circumstances. Sometimes I wonder if I would like to have a Hungarian passport.
In the afternoon, I went on a book-buying tour with a long shopping list. It was so much fun, like being a child in a playground! However, I was only able to tick off one item from the list, the one that cannot be shipped abroad. I had to say a difficult farewell to the d\u00cdselet because I had an evening appointment in \u00d3buda.
I never slept under the same blanket as a former colleague of mine, despite no fault of my own.
Why do I waste time talking to women who will never say yes to me? I approach the subject from a different angle. I saw the same principle in my grandmother. Although we have little in common in our communication and value judgments, it highlights something I frame for myself:
I seek out people I feel comfortable with in their company. I tend to avoid people who make me feel bad and instead choose to spend time with those who I value.  In this relationship, love is not based on friendship or any other concept, but rather on the value of my time and self-worth.
To prioritize my time effectively, I need to allocate it to the right people and tasks at the right time. Although I tend to take on too much, I always make sure to set aside time for the things that matter most.  For example, every year I make it a priority to visit my homeland for two weeks.
This Thursday evening, I am looking forward to spending
time with Old Buda, who I am incredibly proud of for learning to let go of things. She was someone who had trouble letting go of things. On the last day of decluttering, she decided to part with some of her belongings, including some sentimental items. It’s common for people to attach emotions to their possessions, and it can be difficult to let go. We don’t know what prompted her to make such a big change, but it must have been a challenging process. It’s great to see that she’s feeling more calm and balanced now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ma journ\u00e9e a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 l’administration fiscale. Par curiosit\u00e9, j’ai demand\u00e9 s’il y avait quelque chose d’inachev\u00e9 \u00e0 mon sujet. Heureusement que je suis entr\u00e9, car ils m’ont dit que ma couverture d’assurance maladie d’\u00c9tat n’\u00e9tait pas pay\u00e9e. Je demande pourquoi devrais-je le faire, je ne paie pas mes imp\u00f4ts ici, je n’ai pas d’adresse permanente ici, mon m\u00e9decin de famille n’est pas ici. Ce n’est pas comme \u00e7a, disent-ils. Il y a une nouvelle r\u00e8gle selon laquelle je dois payer m\u00eame si je n’utilise pas l’assurance maladie. Ah, voil\u00e0 ce que c’est quand la caisse de l’\u00c9tat est fauch\u00e9e. Ils recouvrent m\u00eame ce qui n’existe pas. Ce matin, j’ai appel\u00e9 une ancienne coll\u00e8gue de Strasbourg, elle dit que le plus simple est de payer, sinon ils ne me laisseront pas tranquille. Ensuite, je dois apporter le document prouvant que j’ai une assurance fran\u00e7aise et je peux demander un remboursement. Si je raconte cette histoire au bureau fran\u00e7ais, ils ne comprendront m\u00eame pas la suggestion. Parfois, je me demande si je veux obtenir un passeport hongrois pour moi\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’apr\u00e8s-midi, je pars en tourn\u00e9e d’achat de livres. La liste de courses est longue. Je me sens comme un enfant dans une aire de jeux. Cependant, je coche seulement un seul article sur ma liste de souhaits, celui qu’ils ne peuvent pas livrer \u00e0 l’\u00e9tranger. Je ne veux pas porter le reste, donc je fais mes adieux aux tranches lourdes parce que je suis invit\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00d3buda ce soir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C’est ainsi qu’une ancienne coll\u00e8gue a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 que nous n’avions jamais partag\u00e9 un lit. Pourquoi parle-je avec des femmes qui ne me diront jamais oui ? J’aborde le sujet d’une autre mani\u00e8re. Je viens de ma grand-m\u00e8re. Bien que nous ayons peu de points communs dans notre communication et notre jugement des valeurs, elle met en lumi\u00e8re quelque chose que je cadre ainsi pour moi-m\u00eame : je cherche des gens avec qui je me sens bien. En m\u00eame temps, je n’ai pas besoin de ceux avec qui je me sens mal. Avec ces deux phrases, je d\u00e9finis deux points extr\u00eames. Ensuite, je place chaque personne sur cette \u00e9chelle imaginaire et je sais avec qui je veux passer du temps. Dans cette perspective, l’amour, l’amiti\u00e9 ou toute autre id\u00e9e ne sont pas d\u00e9cisifs. Il s’agit de me consid\u00e9rer comme pr\u00e9cieux, alors mon temps est pr\u00e9cieux. Si mon temps est pr\u00e9cieux, je dois \u00e9tablir une hi\u00e9rarchie en fonction de laquelle je donne \u00e0 qui \u00e0 quel moment. Non, je ne suis ni important ni occup\u00e9, je veux juste trop de choses. Et si je passe deux semaines par an dans ma ville natale, m\u00eame une personne comme moi qui a du temps libre aura un calendrier complet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donc, jeudi soir \u00e0 \u00d3buda. Je suis tellement fier de cette femme ! Elle a appris \u00e0 l\u00e2cher prise des objets. Elle \u00e9tait une sorte de d\u00e9butante dans l’accumulation – la collection, et lors de la derni\u00e8re mise au point, elle a pris ses souvenirs et les a jet\u00e9s. Pensez-y, chaque personne peut lier des \u00e9motions \u00e0 ses objets, et si cela est combin\u00e9 au probl\u00e8me de la lib\u00e9ration, le chaos est pr\u00eat. Je ne voulais pas gratter ce sujet pour savoir quel \u00e9tait le point de rupture apr\u00e8s lequel un changement significatif s’est produit, mais une chose est s\u00fbre, cela n’a pas d\u00fb \u00eatre facile pour elle. Cependant, il est bon de voir qu’elle est beaucoup plus calme et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9e maintenant qu’il y a deux ans. J’ai toujours aim\u00e9 l’entendre raconter des histoires. C’\u00e9tait bien de la prendre dans mes bras. J’aime qu’elle mette toujours un sourire sur mon visage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sur le chemin du retour, je suis descendu du tram au pont Margit et j’ai pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 marcher tout le long du Danube. J’adore cette vue. Tout le monde n’a pas une rive de fleuve comme \u00e7a. M\u00eame apr\u00e8s avoir visit\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de quatre cents villes, je dis que c’est totalement unique. J’essaie de sauvegarder mes souvenirs aussi pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment que possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
