I painted the railing for the third day at the request of the maintenance man and will do it again tomorrow. I hope to finish it tomorrow. Oh no, I’m going to the market in the morning as usual. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have an e-reader with a text reader – it’s a bit of a mess when a Google assistant reads the book in machine voice, but I paid two and a half euros for this app, and it can read any legal epub and pdf book. It’s a pleasure to paint this way. Last week I listened again to the book by Albert Barab\u00e1si – L\u00e1szl\u00f3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And for the last few days I have been listening to a book by an Irish writer called Emma Donoghue called Shelters. Three monks leave their monastery and found a new one on a previously uninhabited island. It is set in the seventh century, when the rules of the order were quite medieval. I was fascinated by the parts where he describes how they set up a shelter, a farm, hunting and fishing on a desert island. Of course, if you put three people together, conflict is guaranteed. For me, one of the most interesting questions is: who lives their faith? Do you have to choose which way is right? Who lives their faith through atonement? Or the son who sees nature as a gift from God? Or the old man who simply gives thanks for each day? Not a Nobel Prize-winning work, but a good read. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My religion is also Roman Catholic Christian. I’m not a practising believer, but maybe that’s not the point in this century. The point is that everyone should have some kind of faith. I don’t think it matters what you believe. As far as churches are concerned, maybe it’s not the rituals that are important, but that the rituals and customs make you feel safe. I think it would be important to have a priest available at all times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, for example, we have six churches belonging to one parish, and on the church door is the telephone number of the parish priest, the priest and the deacon. In most places, the churches do not even have regular masses, but they are always available. In any case, priests live in the same place, so they are not lonely, isolated people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    J’ai une liseuse \u00e9lectronique avec une fonction de lecture de texte. C’est un peu maladroit quand l’assistant Google lit le livre avec une voix artificielle, mais j’ai pay\u00e9 deux euros et demi pour cette application, en \u00e9change de quoi elle peut lire n’importe quel livre \u00e9lectronique ou PDF conforme aux droits d’auteur. J’essaie donc de profiter de la peinture. La semaine derni\u00e8re, j’ai encore \u00e9cout\u00e9 le livre de Barab\u00e1si Albert-L\u00e1szl\u00f3. Ces derniers jours, j’ai \u00e9cout\u00e9 le livre d’un \u00e9crivain irlandais nomm\u00e9 Emma Donoghue intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Refuge\u00a0\u00bb. Trois moines quittent le monast\u00e8re et fondent un nouveau monast\u00e8re sur une \u00eele jusque-l\u00e0 inhabit\u00e9e. L’action se d\u00e9roule au VIIe si\u00e8cle, \u00e0 une \u00e9poque o\u00f9 les r\u00e8gles religieuses \u00e9taient assez m\u00e9di\u00e9vales. Les parties du livre qui d\u00e9crivent comment ils cr\u00e9ent un refuge, une ferme, comment ils chassent et p\u00eachent sur une \u00eele d\u00e9serte m’ont vraiment captiv\u00e9. Bien s\u00fbr, d\u00e8s que trois personnes se retrouvent ensemble, le conflit est in\u00e9vitable. Pour moi, l’une des questions les plus int\u00e9ressantes est de savoir comment chacun vit sa foi. Est-il n\u00e9cessaire de choisir la mani\u00e8re correcte? Celui qui vit sa foi par la p\u00e9nitence? Ou le gar\u00e7on qui consid\u00e8re la nature comme un cadeau de Dieu? Ou le vieil homme qui exprime simplement sa gratitude pour chaque jour? Ce n’est pas une \u00e9criture laur\u00e9ate du prix Nobel, mais c’\u00e9tait agr\u00e9able \u00e0 lire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ma religion est aussi le christianisme catholique romain. Je ne suis pas un croyant pratiquant, mais peut-\u00eatre que ce n’est pas important dans ce si\u00e8cle. L’essentiel est que chaque personne ait une sorte de foi. Je pense que ce n’est pas essentiel de savoir ce que chacun croit. En ce qui concerne les \u00e9glises, ce ne sont peut-\u00eatre pas tant les c\u00e9r\u00e9monies qui sont importantes, mais les rituels et les coutumes qui am\u00e9liorent le sentiment de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l’homme. Je pense qu’il est important qu’un pasteur soit toujours disponible. Chez nous, par exemple, une paroisse est responsable de six \u00e9glises. Le num\u00e9ro de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone du cur\u00e9, du pr\u00eatre et du diacre est affich\u00e9 sur la porte de l’\u00e9glise. Dans la plupart des endroits, ils ne c\u00e9l\u00e8brent pas la messe r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, mais ils sont toujours disponibles.
