It was two minutes. In that time, about a hundred riders passed me. I wanted to go down to the town centre for the results announcement, but I only got as far as the shop on the edge of town. The plan was to ride the scooter down and take the bus home, but there are only two buses all day and I didn&rsquo;t want to wait an extra four hours. I think they changed the schedule this week. However, the scooter&rsquo;s energy wouldn&rsquo;t have lasted the whole way back, so I walked three kilometres to the outskirts of Fontvieille.<br \/><br \/>I was talking to a friend online and he asked me if I consider Hungary my home and what about my family. I replied to my friend in Budapest that I consider it my homeland:\u00a0 <br \/>Last year I was in Budapest in May and then at Christmas. <br \/>This year I don&rsquo;t know.\u00a0 No plans until November.<br \/>I consider Hungary my homeland. I don&rsquo;t know what I should consider my country at the moment. I watch Hungary with concern.\u00a0 Sometimes I read news that seems a very little bit like an absurd farce.\u00a0 I find myself less and less in agreement with the systems and regulatory principles that operate in the country. And I don&rsquo;t have a new country yet. But here in Provence, I&rsquo;m welcome. As a Hungarian, I feel like a complete outsider.\u00a0 However, all the authorities really ask is, &lsquo;Isn&rsquo;t that an EU country too? I don&rsquo;t know what to consider my country.<br \/>My family is relatively well off. My brother has just changed jobs but will continue to work in the construction industry as a middle manager. They moved into their new house in the autumn.\u00a0 My sister has been working in the same supermarket for fifteen years and they moved to a slightly bigger house last year, and now both sons have their own rooms. <br \/>My mother is still hospitalised once a year &#8211; mostly for her waist, but she still goes to work in the same restaurant.<br \/>This year, I didn&rsquo;t want to spend New Year&rsquo;s Eve away from the chaldee, I wanted to go back to Budapest because I love that city. So I rented a tiny room in a hostel downtown instead.<br \/><br \/>The other lady I know lives in the country. Elle a dur\u00e9 deux minutes. Dans ce laps de temps, une centaine de coureurs m&rsquo;ont d\u00e9pass\u00e9. Je voulais descendre au centre ville pour l&rsquo;annonce des r\u00e9sultats, mais je ne suis all\u00e9 que jusqu&rsquo;au magasin situ\u00e9 \u00e0 la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie de la ville. J&rsquo;avais pr\u00e9vu de descendre en scooter et de prendre le bus pour rentrer, mais il n&rsquo;y a que deux bus par jour et je n&rsquo;avais pas envie d&rsquo;attendre quatre heures de plus. Je crois qu&rsquo;ils ont chang\u00e9 les horaires cette semaine. Cependant, l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie du scooter n&rsquo;aurait pas dur\u00e9 tout le chemin du retour, alors j&rsquo;ai march\u00e9 trois kilom\u00e8tres jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la p\u00e9riph\u00e9rie de Fontvieille.<br \/><br \/>Je discutais avec un ami en ligne et il m&rsquo;a demand\u00e9 si je consid\u00e9rais la Hongrie comme ma patrie et ce qu&rsquo;il en \u00e9tait de ma famille. J&rsquo;ai r\u00e9pondu \u00e0 mon ami de Budapest que je la consid\u00e9rais comme ma patrie :&nbsp; <br \/>L&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, j&rsquo;\u00e9tais \u00e0 Budapest en mai et \u00e0 No\u00ebl. <br \/>Cette ann\u00e9e, je ne sais pas.&nbsp; Je n&rsquo;ai rien pr\u00e9vu avant novembre.<br \/>Je consid\u00e8re la Hongrie comme ma patrie. Je ne sais pas ce que je devrais consid\u00e9rer comme mon pays en ce moment. Je regarde la Hongrie avec inqui\u00e9tude.&nbsp; Parfois, je lis des nouvelles qui ressemblent un tout petit peu \u00e0 une farce absurde.&nbsp; Je suis de moins en moins d&rsquo;accord avec les syst\u00e8mes et les principes de r\u00e9gulation qui fonctionnent dans le pays. Et je n&rsquo;ai pas encore de nouveau pays. Mais ici, en Provence, je suis le bienvenu. En tant que Hongrois, je me sens compl\u00e8tement \u00e9tranger.&nbsp; Cependant, la seule question que posent les autorit\u00e9s est la suivante : \u00ab\u00a0N&rsquo;est-ce pas aussi un pays de l&rsquo;UE ? Je ne sais pas comment consid\u00e9rer mon pays.<br \/>Ma famille est relativement ais\u00e9e. Mon fr\u00e8re vient de changer d&#8217;emploi, mais il continuera \u00e0 travailler dans le secteur de la construction en tant que cadre moyen. Ils ont emm\u00e9nag\u00e9 dans leur nouvelle maison \u00e0 l&rsquo;automne.&nbsp; Ma s\u0153ur travaille dans le m\u00eame supermarch\u00e9 depuis quinze ans et ils ont d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 dans une maison un peu plus grande l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, et maintenant les deux fils ont leur propre chambre. <br \/>Ma m\u00e8re est encore hospitalis\u00e9e une fois par an, principalement pour sa taille, mais elle continue \u00e0 travailler dans le m\u00eame restaurant.<br \/>Cette ann\u00e9e, je ne voulais pas passer le r\u00e9veillon du Nouvel An loin de la Chald\u00e9e, je voulais retourner \u00e0 Budapest parce que j&rsquo;aime cette ville. De toute fa\u00e7on, je n&rsquo;ai pas l&rsquo;habitude de passer le r\u00e9veillon en famille.&nbsp; L&rsquo;ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, par exemple, je suis all\u00e9e faire la f\u00eate \u00e0 Keszthely.<br \/>J&rsquo;aurais aim\u00e9 rester plus longtemps, mais j&rsquo;avais deux semaines au total et je voulais voir beaucoup de gens que je connaissais, donc je n&rsquo;avais pas beaucoup de temps \u00e0 consacrer \u00e0 qui que ce soit.<br \/>Je reste chez mon p\u00e8re \u00e0 Zala lorsque je visite mon pays. Mais pour une raison ou une autre, je n&rsquo;aime pas \u00eatre un fardeau pour qui que ce soit.&nbsp; Il s&rsquo;agit peut-\u00eatre d&rsquo;un d\u00e9lire de ma part, mais je me serais sentie exploit\u00e9e si j&rsquo;avais r\u00e9serv\u00e9 l&rsquo;endroit pour une semaine et demie. J&rsquo;ai donc lou\u00e9 une chambre minuscule dans une auberge de jeunesse du centre-ville.<br \/><br \/>L&rsquo;autre femme que je connais vit \u00e0 la campagne. Vous ne m&rsquo;en voudrez peut-\u00eatre pas si je vous rappelle qu&rsquo;elle a essay\u00e9 de me faire croire que je serais mieux en Hongrie occidentale avec ma famille.
