The weird thing is that they are whispering behind my back and giving me all my holidays, hardly working. The worst will be if you are dumped overnight. They can. Today I looked through the job offers. There are still offers in Corsica. It would be good to know for sure. If I knew for sure that I was going to be made redundant, I would apply for all fourteen coastal jobs. I found fourteen offers that were just right, the rest were compromises. If you are unexpectedly dismissed, then…. I don’t know what will happen. There are worse and worse compromises.

I applied for two jobs. I will have to think about this text: Dear employer, I am currently working in Les Baux de Provence. Why do I want to give up the commis de cuisine position? Because at the moment I speak very bad English and French. I’d like to take on a less complicated position – like washing dishes. I also want to improve my French language skills.
