We’ve been going for days with full houses and groups. Jean-Pierre, a friend of the Beaupied family, who replaced the fired chef for two months last year, replaces the assistant who was hired last week and then removed after two days. I’ve been doing the dishes for two days, I’m not breaking. I have nothing against this job. I get free food from the kitchen: baked potatoes, chanterelles, rum dessert; for the second time, I had a good time. However, the day opened late, as guests were not seated until late in the afternoon and evening. Tomorrow I might go to look for lavender. 2024. Wednesday, 26 June
