I hit a bush.

In the afternoon I tried to fix the brakes on my scooter. They have improved somewhat, they are not tight now, but they are still a bit tight. Saturday morning I probably hit a leander bush. Probably because my vision was so blurry, it was as if I had my glasses on. I didn’t even bring my glasses. I think it’s called alcohol vapour. Where did I get the courage to get on the scooter?! During the evening test drive, the battery power seemed to have halved. Yesterday afternoon I was already scrolling through the scooter ads. One month’s salary can buy you a good deal.

After work I went down for a beer. I wanted to get out for some fresh air, and I needed to test the scooter after the weekend’s events. At the same time, I watched the Hungarian team play in the football tournament – as background noise. Still, that goalkeeper was flying around the pitch, no wonder the doctors had to pick him up.

There was a strange scene in the kitchen. The match started when the work was still going on. The chef brought a phone so I could watch the match with one eye. The rude man was nice to me. Now I’m embarrassed to say that, in general, I don’t care about football, just the nature of the community event…

We are getting used to each other in the kitchen. I don’t know who is honest, but I don’t care anymore. But it’s definitely a relief that we’re getting used to each other, and that’s good for the atmosphere. Yesterday the cook’s kid was sick; yesterday we had almost fifty guests; twice the usual Saturday. This relatively large number of people was served by two. Just to give you an idea, with last year’s team, even five people would not have been enough to handle this kind of traffic. I still don’t like these kitchen staff, I don’t understand their motivations, I don’t find the goodness in them; but I have given up trying to understand them. I’m interested in one thing: to do the best job I can and to listen and learn as much as possible. If you don’t like it, let me know!
