A Dishwashing Diary
More precisely, I’m telling the story of the past two days of dishwashing on Thursday morning.

They weren’t bad, just average weekdays. The two days were a bit tiring, as it happens sometimes. The lesson of Wednesday was that someone I thought could approach others in a friendly manner actually has less goodwill than a rabbit has courage. I tell them something, and then I hear from a third person that they are discussing what I said a few hours earlier. It seems that people are extremely self-centered. They play their minds, they chat. I don’t need any of that!
Perhaps it’s best if I do my work silently, without a word. Both afternoons, I went into the city, which I enjoyed. I bought a potted rose for my window and also checked out the photo festival. There was a beach atmosphere in the monastery courtyard. Posters, music, beach chairs; life is beautiful. How many beauties do we notice in the grayness? Simple weekdays, yet so many interesting things happen.
Sometimes I start to feel like summer is passing me by, but it’s really not. It’s July, and I’m thinking, what should I do, where should I go? Anywhere! You can spend your time happily anywhere. Something is happening everywhere.
A charmer or just a pretender?
