Is this life?!
Tuesday, the first working day of the week. Today’s dishwashing is uneventful. The only thing is that the dishwasher was finally fixed after a month. Now only the water drainage under the tap is falling apart; we’ll leave the minor problems for now.
In the afternoon, Arles, a photo exhibition, just to get out.

Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation
More than ten artists’ exhibition in a five-story house. I can identify two main themes among them: migration and the migration of waste.
These are good exhibitions, but they cannot show anything surprising. They are effective, and I just hope that they reach those who have never dealt with these topics before. They very vividly depict, for example, the feelings of people leaving Georgia, or, for example, Ghana, where a lot of waste flows in from Europe.
We wonder why people of color are blowing in our direction when we are still exploiting and using an entire continent?! Is this life?! Is this life, as it is for those facing migration? Is this life? Like what those who rummage through our European waste all day get?!*
I wrote down two more thoughts. One is that on the top floor, they photographed the migrants not dramatically, but rather sensitively, kindly, and cutely. The other is that they chose music and other sounds very skillfully in the exhibition room.
I enjoyed today.
