My Student Diary: a Saturday Night

2024. Saturday, 08 June.
It’s one in the morning again, and I’m not sleepy again. Tomorrow, I’ll set an alarm for the afternoon siesta.
Today’s treat: I made another pretty strawberry cake.
I spoke to my mother this afternoon. It was embarrassing, because before I called, he had already written a message… I don’t know how to put the soul into it. There’s so much metal in his body now that the magnetic access gate will screw shut if he goes through it. Your implants hurt even when they’re not squeaking. I can’t even feel it. It is also a miracle that he can walk with crutches.
Tonight after work I went up to the castle hill above the village, just to go out. The air is nice, I’ll go out tomorrow – wherever. For example, the reason for going out could be to take some pictures of flowers.
