Funny complaints and curiosities

The whole story is about how there will always be something that disrupts our plans. But at least I managed to catch up a bit in the garden. I think reciprocity really works, and perhaps I will continue to move forward on this principle in the future. I believe there will always be something to remind us how important mutual respect and assistance are.

Let’s start with the fact that at the end of my day off on Wednesday, the manager left a message that I would be substituting for the dishwasher and the maintenance worker on Thursday and Friday.

I woke up at seven in the morning, washed dishes from ten, and continued washing in the afternoon and evening. These were tiring days. On Friday afternoon, the manager came to apologize, saying that this was not how he wanted it, but the maintenance worker left the task list here. Then he explained that they are preparing a new schedule, according to which I will have Sunday and Monday off, and I will only substitute for the maintenance worker on Thursday and Friday. Congratulations! We suggested this weeks ago, even in the spring. I could make better use of the Thursday and Friday days off, there’s better public transportation, more activities, but overall, it’s better for the hotel, and it doesn’t bother me.

It still bothers me that the sink and drain in the dishwasher are falling apart, and the dishwasher is not suitable for washing dishes.

Otherwise, they are normal with me. Everyone is normal with me. Perhaps this thing called reciprocity works….

The situation is that as soon as I started working in the garden, it immediately stands out that someone else, perhaps more lazily, is doing their work. I finished by ten, which Francesco finishes by noon.

On Saturday, I worked with the pastry chef. It’s interesting that on Sunday, the pastry chef’s assistant does the work alone that I helped with on Saturday. I do it with pleasure, but really, they shouldn’t complain to me about life being hard, because I can’t take that complaint seriously – especially when they tell me this after returning from their fifth cigarette break!
