How to describe an experience in an experiential way?
I looked back at the posts from a month ago. In mid-April, I bathed in a bay that, if a few fruit trees were planted above it, I would say we had arrived in paradise. This was Cassis and the Calanques. Two thoughts came to mind. Firstly, why complain when I see such wonderful things every month; while thoughts flood my mind and yet I say, there are no words for this!? My other thought is precisely how to paint a place like this with words? I can describe colours, shapes, and moods. Can one somehow convey such a strong experience through words? How? Can I succeed in this too?

Comment peut-on décrire une expérience de manière aussi immersive?
J’ai regardé en arrière les publications d’il y a un mois. Mi-avril, je me suis baigné dans une baie qui, si on y plantait quelques arbres fruitiers, je dirais que nous sommes arrivés au paradis. C’était Cassis et les Calanques. Deux pensées me vennent à l’esprit maintenant. D’une part, pourquoi me plaindre alors que je vois des choses aussi merveilleuses chaque mois; alors que les pensées m’envahissent et que je dis quand même, il n’y a pas de mots pour cela !? Mon autre pensée est justement de savoir comment on peut dépeindre un tel endroit avec des mots. Je peux décrire des couleurs, des formes, des ambiances. Peut-on transmettre par les mots une expérience aussi intense? Comment? Est-ce que je pourrais y arriver moi aussi?

Two thoughts just occurred to me. On the one hand, why the hell am I complaining when I see such wonderful things every month; when I’m overwhelmed with thoughts and yet I say, there are no words!? My other thought is precisely how can you describe such a place in words? I can describe colours, shapes, moods. Is there any way to convey such a powerful experience in words? How? Can I do it?
