Winter Accommodation and Cooperation Details

As I understood from our last conversation, you kindly offered that I could stay at the hotel during the winter and help with the winter tasks. This sounds great, and I sincerely thank you for the opportunity.
Last week, I managed to speak with the France Travail employment office. After my current employment contract ends, I will be eligible for support again. However, the €900 offered by the office provides a somewhat tight financial situation, which means I will need to seek additional work during the winter months. I would only like to rely on your generosity in November, and it’s natural for me to help out wherever needed while I’m staying at the hotel. I won’t be staying at the hotel in December or January.
I apologize if this causes any inconvenience. I want to ensure that the situation is clear and transparent. I understand the business perspective that it costs relatively little to keep my staff room open. However, if you view the room as rentable accommodation, let’s clarify what is expected in return for the free stay. We could, for example, agree that during the winter period, I help out every workday from 9 a.m. to noon. I don’t mind, and I completely understand a more business-like approach, but let’s ensure everything is fair and clear.
