I finally got myself a designer pepper grinder at a great price. I also picked up a truffle-infused olive oil, thanks to an irresistible window display – €7 was a real deal! While the oil isn’t top-notch, the aerosol bottle is handy and refillable with everyday oils. Today’s salad is a perfect showcase for both new acquisitions.
Today’s Mix:
Iceberg lettuce, finely chopped as usual.
Diced vine tomatoes.
Bell pepper and carrot chunks.
A touch of Parmesan – leftovers from a hotel closing.
Olives.
Salami pieces.
A pinch of grated mint.
Dressing:
A generous amount of truffle-infused olive oil.
Freshly ground mixed pepper.
A pinch of salt.
